Private label (not to be mistaken as White Label) is a term that applies to the purchase of produce by placing your own brand, modifying or enhancing it to suit your preferred design, feature and feel, all from just one manufacturer. It can therefore be only sold by that particular brand owner.
White label, on the other hand, are produce purely dictated by any manufacturer and can be resold by single or multiple resellers.
Private-label is also a new opportunity in developing countries, fastergrowing economies and countries recovering from economic decline or stagnation. Therefore, looking ahead, private-label brands have several avenues for future growth around the globe.
